What relationship do you have to a student in our class? We are Sam's maternal grandparents.

Please describe where you are located, so if it is one of the smaller towns we can get a general idea where to look: We took Flat Stanley to Paris, the capital of France, and then to Provence in the South of the country.

How would you describe your city? Paris is a world-famous city and a very beautiful one. The river Seine runs right through the middle of the city, and it is very enjoyable to walk along the river. The city has many beautiful buildings, a few are even 800 years old but most are up to 400 years old and some are brand-new.

What is the weather like? The weather is sometimes cold and rainy in the autumn, but during Flat Stanley's visit it was bright and sunny and warm. In the winter it will be very cold but with little snow. In the summer it will be very hot.

What places would you recommend seeing here and why? Is this area known for any famous event or people? Many famous monuments are located in Paris: the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre palace, Notre-Dame cathedral. Flat Stanley visited all of these. Among the famous people who lived here are Napoleon, The Sun King, and Ernest Hemingway.
